Love is patient, love is kind. Most people today do community service to make themselves feel good. On Valentine's day, you may have bought flowers for some other person, but how many of you are still pursuing that same love? Love is not self-seeking! Jesus died without proving to anyone that he had done a good thing.
Love is forever. Even if the person is coming to kill you. Even if that person took away the dearest thing in your life. Even if they make you waste your time.
Love never fails. It lives through the engagement, the honeymoon, it lives through years and years and years. Love is not short-lived like relationships in school.
These are God's standards for true love. This is what God expects of you. Why isn't everybody loving this way? It starts in the Garden of Eden...but Jesus broke the emnity that lived between man and woman that began in the Garden.
