Main texts: Isaiah 56:4-7, Mark 11:15-17, John 2:13-22

Inspired partly by a book called "Fresh Wind, Fresh Fire: What Happens When God's Spirit Invades the Hearts of His People" by Jim Cymbala, pastor of the Brooklyn Tabernacle.

Isaiah 56:4-7: This is a house of prayer, consecrated unto the Lord. CMFI has been blessed to be a house of prayer, filled with joy. We're bringing our sacrifices to the altar of the Lord: our families, our money, our time, our education, our jobs, our well-being, and God accepts them.

Mark 11:15-17: God has a business plan for our church: we pray according to God's will, we reach into the storehouses of heaven and take the products and invest them on earth and give the increase back to the Lord. It's a financial model. Some churches have a different model. Jesus would call some churches today "dens of robbers," they buy and sell entertainment for their congregation, and many don't even have a prayer meeting. Don't settle for a church of gimmicks. Settle for a church of Jesus.

John 2:13-22: By "this," Jesus referred to his own body. You, yourself, are a temple. You are a walking temple of God Almighty. What extreme measures have you taken to maintain the purity of your house for God? What extreme measures do you use to cut off sin? Jesus can free you from them! How often do you pray? In the tabernacle of the old testament, the on the alters fires burned continuously. Be in the presence of God continuously! Be the house of prayer. Make your words, thoughts, forgiveness, and closeset relationships pure and holy that your body can house the Holy Spirit of God.

Don't settle for less than a praying church that has the power to convict you of your sins!
